Before I set sail on my Antarctic Voyage

That’s her! That’s my boat!!

First cruise in my life and I choose over 20 days at sea on the roughest sea in the world. Haha this could be interesting.

That said, I have packed sooooo many pills for this trip – sea sickness, altitude sickness, malaria, vitamins… I thought I was going to be the first tourist barred from entry to South America for smuggling drugs in!

This morning I was strolling along the waterfront and an ALBATROSS casually flew over my shoulder!! An albatross! So exciting. And then I found them frolicking in the water a bit further round, near the boats.

I was interested to see the distances on this sign!

I’m probably going off grid for a while but I don’t know what to expect yet. I reach the Falklands in a couple of days before heading to South Georgia and then onwards to the Antarctic peninsula.

Back in February – catch you then!
